Charity Donations

You may wish that only family flowers are sent to the funeral and that donations if desired, be collected for a charity of your choice. If you do wish for this, it is advisable to state this request in the newspaper announcement.

We are willing to collect donations, up to six weeks after the funeral service, for the chosen charity on your behalf and provide you with a list of donors and the total amount given. We then ask the charity to acknowledge receipt to the next of kin or executor.

Donations can be made online through a dedicated memorial page and we can also supply a collection box for donations to be given on the day of the funeral service, which we will collect and conduct the necessary administration.

As a company, we make a conscious effort to support local hospices and charities and thank the staff and volunteers for their work. Your funeral arranger will ask if you have a particular charity in mind to receive donations for, if you do not have a chosen charity we are happy to provide some suggestions below, of which we have selected a few which we feel provide a much-appreciated service.
